Forming A Chapter

Calling all folks interested in forming a chapter in their area.

We are looking for leaders that are:

1. In the LGBT community or supporters of the LGBT community.
2. Willing to put the time in to recruit and make their chapter a reality.

Requirements:

1. Must be and annual or lifetime member of Vets Do Ask Do Tell, Inc.
2. Must have 8 to 10 members to to receive permanent chapter status.
3. Must be actively engaged in promoting the organization.
4. Must be activly engaged in activities on a local level to help educate and support our LGBT service men and women.

Advantages in being a chapter:

1. You can actively have events at the local level that can be advertised on our national site.
2. You will be given your own chapter website that you can post local events and information on.
3. You can purchase items from our store at reduced rates to earn money for your chapter.
4. The national headquarters will allow you a percentage of membership dues to support your events and programs.
5. Strength in numbers....chapters help in letting us know specific needs within your local area so we can promote your needs to the VA and educate them on the needs of LGBT veterans.
